Friday Poll: Your Fave Part of the Story

What part of a story do you most like to write? I tend to gravitate toward the high-tension moments myself. They're always the ones that are most clear in my mind and the most fun to write.

I'm guessing we're all a little different, so you tell me - what's your favorite part?

  3. I'm the same as well... the juicy bits! (As in any action, tension etc... not very good at THOSE sort of juicy scenes :P) You can actually get an adrenaline rush from it!

  4. Beginnings and first drafts are a pain. I always over think the whole things and endings give me nightmares, but high tension scenes just come out like butter. Second drafts are easier for me but I enjoy editing the most.

    Great poll!

  5. I like to jump around to the big action scenes and then go back and connect the dots, trying to make those connection sequences as interesting as possible. Cool poll!

  6. Getting to this poll a few days late...and it's closed! =) I like writing endings- there's something satisfying about knowing that I'm done, at least until I get to the next round of revisions. I'm surprised no one admitted that they enjoy writing the romantic stuff. I like writing the romantic stuff! I would've marked that!
