What part of a story do you most like to write? I tend to gravitate toward the high-tension moments myself. They're always the ones that are most clear in my mind and the most fun to write.
I'm guessing we're all a little different, so you tell me - what's your favorite part?
Your Favorite Part to Write
ooohh, I like this poll! I can't write beginnings very well. :/ But I sure like those tension points!
ReplyDeleteThe first draft was my pick!
ReplyDeleteNo way I like the first draft best!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I like the high tension moments. Beginnings and endings are tough for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same as well... the juicy bits! (As in any action, tension etc... not very good at THOSE sort of juicy scenes :P) You can actually get an adrenaline rush from it!
ReplyDeleteBeginnings and first drafts are a pain. I always over think the whole things and endings give me nightmares, but high tension scenes just come out like butter. Second drafts are easier for me but I enjoy editing the most.
ReplyDeleteGreat poll!
I like to jump around to the big action scenes and then go back and connect the dots, trying to make those connection sequences as interesting as possible. Cool poll!
ReplyDeleteGetting to this poll a few days late...and it's closed! =) I like writing endings- there's something satisfying about knowing that I'm done, at least until I get to the next round of revisions. I'm surprised no one admitted that they enjoy writing the romantic stuff. I like writing the romantic stuff! I would've marked that!
ReplyDeletemy fave part is the first draft, the perseverence kicks in for the edits and i never know which draft will be the last! fun poll!
